1. If happily employed: current job title.
2. If currently employed but looking to transition: current job title + 2 other titles.
3. If unemployed: 3 job titles you are seeking.

Make it crystal CLEAR to recruiters and hiring managers what roles you can fulfill. Realistic. Job titles so you can be searched.

“Seasoned professional with 20 years experience.....”
“Actively seeking.....”
SUMMARY (short, sharp and to the point, easy to read)
Professional summary of resume written in first person (third person for resumes)
About section should be 2-3 paragraphs with at least 200 words
Key competencies: List them below the about section
Certifications, technologies or systems utilization (Agile, C++, Salesforce, etc.)
Key achievements: Reduced costs, augmented sales, etc.

People can only be CONNECTED to 30,000 others. FOLLOWERS are unlimited.
Endorsements and recommendations: give and ask for them. The more endorsements you have, the easier it will be for you to apply for positions via LinkedIn because it will rank you as a strong candidate.
Best practices:
ENGAGE meaningfully on LinkedIN with likes and comments!
Reply to comments 8+ words. You can have the best profile on the planet, but if you don’t actively engage on posts or by posting yourself, nobody will ever see you. The LinkedIn algorithm rewards engagement in recruiter and other searches.
Like your own comments - boost algorithm (yes, I know this seems weird)
Make a comment on four posts a day, and like others’ comments as well
*Look at the profile of someone who works for a company that you want to work for, or who has a title you are transitioning to, and model your profile after theirs.*
LinkedIn Premium will not help you as a job seeker unless you use it to up skill on LinkedIn Learning or are actively seeking to InMail recruiters and hiring managers.

Make sure you have pinned the ones you want to feature. If you are job searching, you can see through LinkedIn Premium which keywords they are looking for and how you measure.
